Compliance Officer
Job Title: Compliance Officer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and initiative-taking Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory compliance
and ensure adherence to AML and banking regulations. The ideal candidate will manage compliance risks,
maintain regulatory standards, and support the company’s mission to provide trusted businessmen services
in Dubai.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Ensure UAE Federal Laws and regulations, especially those governing company formation in
Freezones, Mainland, and Offshore jurisdictions.
• Follow the specific rules, compliance guidelines, and benefits of various Freezone authorities (e.g.,
DIFC, DMCC, JAFZA) and Offshore jurisdictions (e.g., Jebel Ali, Ras Al Khaimah).
• Ensure compliance with UAE Commercial Companies Law (CCL), Economic Substance
Regulations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) laws in all
business formation and operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE banking and financial regulations, including Central Bank directives
and FATF standards.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with company formation in different jurisdictions.
This includes understanding financial risks, operational risks, and regulatory risks.
• Conduct Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks and ensuring client funds comply with legal
frameworks.
• Provide expert guidance on the different types of business entities (e.g., LLC, Sole Proprietorship,
Branch Office), including their legal, regulatory, and operational requirements and advantages
across Mainland, Freezone, and Offshore jurisdictions in the UAE.
• Initiate licensing process for businesses across various zones, including managing all required
documentation, obtaining approvals, and consulting with authorities such as the Dubai Department
of Economic Development (DED) and Freezone Authorities.
• Develop, update, and enforce internal compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct compliance training for staff to promote awareness of regulatory obligations.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulators and senior management.
• Facilitate internal and external compliance audits and address findings promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in compliance, AML, or banking.
• Effective communication with government bodies, regulatory authorities, clients, and internal
teams to ensure smooth formation processes.
Ability to explain complex legal and regulatory requirements to clients in a clear, concise manner.
Function as the first point of contact for clients seeking guidance on company formation and
compliance matters.
• Ability to streamline and optimize the company formation process, minimizing risks and ensuring
efficiency.
• Ability to interpret complex regulations and make informed decisions on compliance issues that
may arise during the company formation process.
• Must have strong knowledge of UAE regulations and international AML frameworks (e.g., FATF).
• Skilled in managing potential compliance-related disputes and finding resolutions in collaboration
with legal advisors or relevant authorities.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of honesty and transparency in compliance and
regulatory matters.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be fluent in English & Hindi. Arabic is a plus.
• Certification in AML or compliance (e.g., CAMS, ICA) is a plus.
• Efficiently managing multiple applications and compliance tasks, meeting tight deadlines in
a fast-paced environment.
